EXPERIENCE, PRODUCT, DATA VISUALIZATION, BRAND
Leslie Kang is a unique design leader who creates change in the digital and physical worlds. She has built award-winning products and services with companies that include Time, Inc, Pentagram, HBO, Razorfish, HUGE, Meetup, The Andrew W. Mellon Foundation and more. After 25+ years in the digital realm, Leslie attended SciArc's architecture program to inform and complement her design in virtual spaces. Leslie's mission is to create beautiful, engaging, and painless experiences for some of the most complex problems.
She was Head of Design for both Haven Life, a leading life insurance tech startup, and Tomo, a progressive home buying startup. She led Haven Life’s acclaimed product design and distinctive brand for its first-of-its-kind product, and she created a unique digital experience for Tomo, which broke the traditional model in that industry. Her method for leading experiences (product, data visualization, physical installations, brand) is through a custom design agnostic process, and she specializes in 0-1 launches for companies who are revolutionizing their fields.
Leslie also writes fiction, surfs in the Rockaways, loves counter culture, listens to uncommon music, and plays tennis. She has degrees from Mount Holyoke College and the Interactive Telecommunications Program (ITP) at New York University. She is based in New York City and Los Angeles.
